 ANTIPLAGIARISM POLICY

In our opinion, plagiarism and self-plagiarism are very serious offences to the research activity and to others’ scientific work. As a general rule, any suspected plagiarism or anti-plagiarism in a text presented for publication are investigated and those texts are not accepted in our publication.
Plagiarism consist of someone claiming somebody else’s ideas or texts, as one’s own by copying or reproducing part of the work, the work in extenso or notorious ideas without due acknowledgement of the source.
Plagiarism may have different forms:
- copying someone else's words verbatim and submitting them for publication with a name on it different from the real author’s one
- including in one’s article texts or parts of text without properly indicating the source (books, articles, transcription of oral communications, thesis – published or unpublished, regardless of the language of presentation or/and of publication, etc.). Paper productions and on-line resources follow the same rules.
- using close paraphrasing without due acknowledgement of reference to the original work
- not putting a quotation in quotation marks
- giving incorrect information about the source of a quotation
Self-plagiarism refers to publishing the same intellectual material more than once by its author, under the same or a different title, regardless of the language of presentation or/and of publication. It means the reuse of significant, identical, or nearly identical portions of one’s own work without acknowledging that.
